Information Manager

As Information Manager at DORC, you understand the needs of the business, advise on the IT roadmap, and support the implementation of proposed solutions to meet those needs. You manage the execution of these solutions from start to finish, including analysis, governance, planning, and budget control. In short: a challenging and multifaceted role!

Your key responsibilities:

  • You act as the link between IT, business units, and other stakeholders
  • You understand business information requirements and provide advice on current/future application architecture, possible solutions, and best practices
  • You advise on the Project Portfolio, Change Advisory Board, Business Process Management, Master Data Management, and the IT organization
  • You analyze and map business processes, define improvements, and communicate with the right stakeholders to implement them
  • You support the IT Project Portfolio Board and ensure adherence to IT Project Governance
  • You assess feasibility, perform risk analyses and create business cases; you monitor budget and planning within your assigned projects
  • You consolidate individual project planning into the overall portfolio planning to manage topics such as timing, quality, scope, resources, risks, interdependencies, and conflicts between resources and IT environments
  • You ensure compliance with IT procedures, including validation efforts, security, business continuity, and data privacy
  • You support ITIL Service Management (e.g., incident, problem, capacity, and change management), in close collaboration with the IT Business Applications and IT Infra & Services teams
  • You conduct quality assessments and help improve processes and policies

About you:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in an IT/Business environment and are used to working independently and in a project-based manner
  • You hold at least a bachelor’s degree
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), if you also speak Dutch it’s a big plus
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands and you can work from the office in Zuidland for at least 50% of your time
  • You are proactive, innovation-minded, and a team player who thrives in a small team (7 colleagues) and takes ownership
  • You are certified in Prince2 / SCRUM, Business Process Management, and ITIL
  • Certifications in BISL, Security, or Business Continuity are a plus
